Need a XML of image E2UE101I

Postby areotree » Mon Oct 26, 2009 9:24 pm

I have searched this forum and several others but can not find a xml map for the ROM image E2UE101I. I put a 2005 engine in a 2007 Forester and used the same manifolds and wiring and ECU from the 2007. It runs great except the check engine light is on all the time and the cruise control light is blinking (the ECU is in (limp mode) and idles very rough. I went to Autozone and had the codes checked and codes that are showing are P0076 and P0077 which are valve control sensors that did not exist on the 2005. What I want to do is disable these two codes in the ROM. I have tried the Hex editor way of disabling (3 or 04 00 76) them but it does not seem to work on this image. Can someone please map this image or tell me how to disable the codes without having to buy IDA disassembler for 400 + dollars.

Thanks

ROM IMAGE is attached.

I hear that one of the main guy who used to do this sort of work has been employed by Cobb, so I doubt he'll be doing that anymore in this community. Not sure who else is able to do this. Sorry.

oh, ok. Thanks.
Does Cobb still monitor this forum anymore ?
I bought the openport connector from his site Tuner Tools, LLC. It works great but there is no map for it in ECUFLASH or ECUEDIT
