Why not move the CAT efficiency range to meet your needs rather then trying to kill the CEL itself? I know I mentioned this before...

the p0420 is not the only code people are dealing with lol. my cel just came on this am on the way to work so don't think my fix worked @ all unless its a new one.

Status update?

which car ? DBW or not ?

The DBW cel solutions are posted in the previous page and work fine... it didn't seem to work originally cuz the ECU checksum wasn't being updated properly...

non-DBW, not sure...

Non-DBW, just started another thread about pulling a full 192K ROM image from a vendor flashed ECU, looks like they have extra code beyond the 160K limit that takes care of disabling sensors.

I do believe the 0/1 table does work on the DBW ecus. I haven't gotten a P0420 code since I flashed the fix in. I would imagine it will conceal the TGV codes just as well.

Yea but same for non DBW? Anyone already locate this table to prevent reinventing the wheel?

I thought CEL disable for non-DBW had long been established. Overwrite 0500 or something like that over the code?

Seems that gets rid of the light but not the code so it will still show up in a scan. I want to eliminate the code entirely.

I don't know if this can help but on a USDM WRX A4SGA00C,

disabling the P0302 in HEX 2E4B5 to 05 00 00 didn't get rid of the fix, the CEL still showed up after a few minutes (I too have a flywheel that throws misfires.. and raising the threshold to 15 didn't fix it).

This region of rom: 2E4B1,5,9,D seem to be the right spot but the CEL still show anywayz....
