Cat inefficiency removal?

Postby crazymikie » Wed Dec 07, 2005 10:24 am

I see for the 2004 ECU, the offsets for the cat efficiency are:

2A967-2A96E = CAT THRESHOLD 2 FAIL ABOVE

2A979-2A980 = CAT THRESHOLD 2 FAIL ABOVE B

I'm trying to figure out how to adjust those values to remove the dreaded CEL that comes on when removing your downpipe cat.

Has anyone tried this? I figure there is no point reinventing the wheel if someone has already done it.

Thanks!

Mike, all,

I too am intested in how to do this but for me it's a MY03 Impreza 2.0 WRX (EURO) [AH750-5141].

I assume qoncept's Enginuity software is attempting to make this happen by editting your map via the 'EGT Fix' option from the 'Engine Parameters' tab.

I understand that this software still in development so support for different ECUs at this time is limited. I'm sure over time this will improve from people on here contributing through testing, etc.

I'd be interested to know what other tools can do this today though...
