Adresses for some information

Postby NeverLies » Thu Apr 21, 2005 11:51 am

Should be intereting to group all adresses in one thread ;)

Mine :

02 01 24 : IAM (Read)

00 00 70 : Idle speed adjust Air Con OFF (Read/Write)
00 00 71 : Idel speed adjust Air Con On (Read/Write)

0x80 is the default value, means +0
0x81 means +25 rpm and so on.

00 00 00 : may contains the communication baud rate

0x15 is for 4800 baud

Awesome! Can you please post the ECU type as well?

Also, do you have any kind of reflash on there? I'll be adding my info later. I've found engine load in there as well and have the conversion factor.

Thanks!

Look at http://www.brendan-stewart.com/other/subaruecu.htm and you'll find more ( including engine load ;) ). The adresses listed in this post are new adresses, not already listed in this doc.

If you check to see the value returned by the initialization command, engine load documented above isn't supported.

For an AH890 ECU, you can find the following:

Engine Load: 0x02 00 F4 - Divide by 32 to get load
IAM: 0x02 01 68 - Returns the value (one-based)

Mike

BTW- Here is the value returned by initialize to get the ID for the ECU as well as what is supported for an AH802:

Message: 80 10 F0 1 BF 40
Message: 2 10 F0 1 BF 40 80 F0 10 39 FF A2 10 F 3E 14 48 40 6 73 FA EB A2 2B C1 2 AA 0 10 0 60 CE 54 F8 B1 E4 80 0 E0 0 0 0 0 0 DC 0 0 45 1F 0 0 2 0 0 0 3 0 0 E0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 8F

there are a number of bits that remain unknown especially in the end range, if anybody can offer assistance as to what these are it would be greatly appreciated. possibly plug in a SSM and see what it returns as supported features.

those IAM and engine load addresses dont work on 99/00 GT models, although these models do support the IAM it seems that its at another address, havent figured it out yet though...

the idle value set and ignition retard addresses should be standard across all of the vehicles.

ignition retard is 0x6f - up to 5 degrees maximum.
