Bought the software and gave it a whirl today at lunch break. It obviously needs some work but even for something untested, its showing a lot of promise. Is it actualy capable of reading the Zeitronix and AEM yet or is this still being worked on? I see them in the list at least which kicks so much a** that it hurts.

Open Evoscan dir
\DataSettings\data.xml

Find timing advance and change Eval="x - 10" to Eval="x - 20"

Has someone figured out the correct formula for the Coolant Temp? My water temp gauge reads around 190, but the log has it at 260. Should I just change the formula from " + 308" to "+ 238"?

I am away on holiday at the moment - back tomorrow, I will have the rest of all week of my holiday to play with programming this :) I will be emailing registered users an EvoScan v0.8 download link within the next 24hrs. Here is a preview of v0.8 new features:

UPDATE:
1) Increased Datalogging Speed! yay.
- Added Log To File option
- Added Log To Screen option
- Added Logging SuperSpeed option
To get maximum speed - Disable Log To Screen, and Enable Logging Superspeed. Less effect is noticed on 2000ghz laptops with a/c power, but slower laptops or laptops running off the battery benefit a lot of speed!
2) Increased Stability of start/stop datalogger, can now pull any plug anywhere and the program handles it perfectly, or cancel datalogging from any point of the process and it ends nicely.
3) Added AYC Info to Data.xml
4) Added DTC Fault Code Info to Data.xml
5) New Log File Format! yay. - Thanks for all of your feedback on this - results now cross-tabulated with easy to use LogId/Date/Time/Seconds
6) Altered DataItem Calculations:
- Increased accuracy on FuelTrim calcs. (Fuel Trims: <100% (lean) >100% (rich) )
- Fixed accuracy on Timing Adv calc. x-20
- Added DataLog="Y" to xml file for default datalogging items ticked.
- Implemented Multiple ECUs to XML file.
7) Added DTC Trouble Code Support
- DataLog Active/Stored Fault Codes
- Retrieve EFI Fault Codes
- Clear EFI Fault Codes
8 ) Added simultaneous WideBand SerialPort Logging Support (untested)
9) Added View Log Files Menu Item

Thanks I have the info sent to me from the manufacturer, and I have already integrated it, you can try it out when I release this version shortly.
