Yep. The Software will only support Evo4's to start with now, I dont have access to any other Evo's.

Prototype is working extremely well with OpenPort 1.3M cable. (Thanks RallyCam for lending me your cable)

Supported Vehicles:
Prototype has been tested as working on JDM Evo 4
Prototype has been tested as working on US Evo 8 (Thanks Maalanar)

yep OpenPort is just an FTDI USB to Serial adapter at OBDII levels, which can support any baud rate you want. because all the different protocols use different baud rates. Its a great generic cable for sure!

what kind of sample rate are you getting? is it more than the pocketlogger 18 samples per second

hell yes waay more than.. my code is fast and very efficient - I went through 3 days of coding and optimisation to get a more stable version than most dataloggers.

Graphs in a quick MSAccess Report of two data log runs - theres a lot of information in that lot! (msaccess does bad looking graphs, and wont look like this in the EvoScan software)

Because the feedback would be wish list stuff, nothing I don't already know, and the feedback will be that there is hardly any functionality :) I am adding dozens of features per day. Maybe another week before I want to release it.. I want it to be good that it gets distributed all over the place. And I'm waiting for another cable to arrive also to add support for that.

Let me know if you need any help, I can also host the file for you on one of my servers.. I'm a proficient VB programmer and fairly knowledgable about the Evo..

I am curious about the sample rate though, since all of my past experience with using OBD-II for logging data on the evo has led be to feel its fairly useless at higher RPM's with more than 2 or 3 data points.

Yea malibu is a pretty knowledgable fellow. As far as sample rate if it can log at least 4 sensors at the same time with a decent sample rate other than 18 I will be happy lol even if not I will be happy since he is going out of his way to produce this for the evo community.
