Read/write Evo ECU memory whilst engine running

Postby S54fan » Wed Mar 07, 2007 11:29 am

See picture of extracts of the datalog.

I've written new code for my ECU that allows you to read and write any memory location whilst the engine is running.

To accomplish an end-user product, the logging applications will need to be updated to give this a nice front end. This isn't my department

Also the actual maps need to be put into RAM. This is easy - just change pointers. There needs to be a check put in when the ECU has been powered down, reflashed or reset to check that the RAM is populated which will need more work.
