In other cars, take an example 2.5STI AL390-2230, as well as the 06 XTs, it is set to -12C. Can I please get a verification if this is the exit figure for closed loop or in fact the entry figure for closed loop. If the entry figure for closed loop, the coolant temp almost never reaches 119.4C under normal driving conditions, how/when does it enter closed loop ? And why the STIs set so low ?
