Which WRX's are drive-by-wire? Am I an idiot?

I must be stupid or something but I've searched for half an hour and cannot find a website detailing which versions of the WRX are DBW, which I need to know when purchasing a tactrix cable. I'm guessing my USDM 2004 WRX is not dbw, but would like to know for sure.

In the US at least, all 2.5L turbo cars are DBW and all 2.0L turbo cars are not. For the WRX, it would be 06+.

OK cool, thanks guys. I'm still new to this all but am excited to learn. So I will need this: http://www.tactrix.com/product_info.php?products_id=35 and not this: http://www.tactrix.com/product_info.php?products_id=33, right? I am at work and the images on that website are blocked by our web filter. And this website: http://openecu.org/index.php?title=EcuFlash:VehicleSupport says that I need 1.3S or 1.3U. I see the 1.3U but the tactrix website doesn't show 1.3S on any of the products. Their website blows.

There have been a few revisions. Not all cables are still available as they are outdated.

You should get the Subaru kit here:

I did get a tactrix cable and flashed a stage 1 setup to my car. I adjusted my wastegate arm cuzz my car was boosting to like 17 or 18psi when I bought it. Now it boosts about 15 psi in 4th gear.

So now I'm trying to use STiScan with my tactrix cable and it's not working. I want to use this program because it has a nice gauge setup and is fully customizable and not so basic looking like Enginuity's logger. I'm gonna go start a thread somewhere regarding STiScan, maybe on NASIOC.

Thanks Freon, you're a good help. I'm still a green n00b but I'm getting better.
