Does anyone know where I can find this EVO connector?

Postby cboles » Wed Nov 02, 2005 11:04 am

I'm trying to find a source for this EVO connector which is used to put the ECU in a special mode where it can be reflashed. I don't see any distingushing text / symbols on the connector which would reveal the manufacturer. Does anyone know who makes this or where I can get some?

Looks like a Molex, but then again a lot of things do. I'd get a catalog (or online) from Mouser or Digikey they have pages of pictures of connectors.

Found it! It is a Sumitomo F(6244-5121) 12-way connector listed on page 3 of the attached PDF. Socket pins for it are on page 2. Special thanks to Thomas Dorris of ecmtuning.com for letting me know that it was a Sumitomo part.

Does this connector tie to pin 79 on the ECU side?
