Configuration for AEM Uego

Configuration for AEM Uego

Postby fenix-silver » Mon May 09, 2011 10:45 am

I have been trying to get my new AEM Uego inline wideband working with the stand-along logging functionality but have not had success yet. This morning I decompiled the AEM Serial Monitor tool that allows you to display the sensor info on a PC and I discovered that the newer version of the wideband uses a baud of 19200 and also has a different data format. The new data format is "1.110\tReady\tNo-errors\r", where 1.110 is the lamda value and the other two are status values which can be ignored for logging purposes I would assume. The three values are separated by a tab and the data line terminates with a carriage return. Can someone please tell me if the stand-alone configuration file can be set to account for these changes or if the firmware will need to be updated? From what I have read, it looks like the Openport is expecting both a carriage return and line feed character to terminate a line, so that may be why it is ultimately not logging anything but zeros.

Thank you!
