Try to compare it to GT model, it may be the same as the RS model

I think GT and GSR map is same.
RS Mivec map is unique for spool up and more power.

Could JDM IX GSR use the JDM IX RS map in order to get that increased power?

Oh... and did you hear about the new JDM 9.5 (or IX GSR MR version) that has just been released? Supposedly they improved the mapping... tuned the MIVEC (i assume in software, not hardware change) with better spool up.

Did you hear about this too? Could be interesting for us with JDM cars (and maybe EDM and possible USDM people as well, especially the new tuned MIVEC maps)?

you can also copy RS Mivec map then paste in your GSR or GT. :D

 yes, the new JDM 9.5 or IX MR just been released.
it's interesting for me too but need a while for get any information from japan.

IX MR Japan page.

Yes I'm trying hard to get some more info... if I get anything I'll share with you here.

From some initial info, the change in MIVEC should NOT be a hardware change, so at this time, we can presume it is only a change in the MIVEC mapping, so in theory we can copy it as you mentioend to get some improvements :D

They said they also lowered the suspension a bit for the 9.5 (MR)...

Anyway, stuff they improved from Evo 9 to 9.5 (performance stuff only, I skip over the rubbish like different color rims and logos):

Apart from optimizing the MIVEC continuously variable valve timing system, engine response has been improved by changing the material used for the turbocharger's turbine wheel from Inconel (a nickel-chrome alloy) to a titanium-aluminum alloy and reducing the compressor wheel inlet diameter. Maximum power and maximum torque figures are unchanged, but the new design gives greater dynamic performance in terms of off-the-line acceleration.

Flexible Eibach coil springs give higher spring rates than those utilized on earlier models. These are combined with Bilstein shock absorbers to optimize damping characteristics and provide unruffled behavior and excellent road hugging characteristics, ensuring well-behaved handling that faithfully follows the driver's inputs. Ride height is lowered by approximately 10 mm (optional on RS), enhancing both vehicle stability and cornering performance.

In conjunction with the suspension improvements, the Super AYC system that provides electronic control for the 4WD system has been tuned to a more sporty orientation. The amount of drive power that can be shifted between the right and left rear wheels has been increased by approximately 10%, achieving further enhancements of on-road turning performance without feeling unnatural. Coupled with the suspension tuning, traction performance has been enhanced to better cope with inside rear wheel lift (through high-speed turns) or differing road conditions for right and left wheels.

The front air dam has been extended slightly on the left and right sides, which reduces the flow of air under the car, while reducing air resistance and further reducing front lift. The concave shapes on the air dam's left and right sides are designed to take airflow away from the sides of the vehicle, eliminating the accumulation of air in the wheel houses.

Do you know where the Super AYC software is stored? They say they tuned it to be "more sporty" and increased its strength by 10%. Or do you think this is hardware change?

AYC Rom stored in AYC ECU and same way for ACD ECU, you can flash them if you know the right method.

Now I try to learning how ACD ECU works from Motec ACD ECU program
http://software.motec.com.au/release/files/MDC_120.exe

Garage HRS japan sale ACD reflashable ECU, you need to send your ACD ECU to modified something and you will get back reflashable ECU, flash adaptor, flash program, USB hardlock key and all necessary.

Interesting I didn't know that product existed!

Do you know what it actually allows you to modify? Is the ACD ECU also controlling the Super-AYC for our JDM/EDM cars?

I'm not sure, I think they put circuit connect to microcontroller that allows you connect to your PC and reflash though some pin of ACD ECU.

you need to take ECU out and plug DC adaptor supply and data adaptor every time when you want edit data.

USB hard key use for identify you have license to use they program.
If no hard key, you can't open program.

reflashable version for car equiped ACD only.

they have preload version ECU for car equiped AYC+ACD, but you can't change data by yourself.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

for street use you should let AYC works as manufactor desired cause AYC diff. is so weak and not really much effective to drive stability.

for circuit racing you need change AYC diff. to LSD

sorry for my english
