I built this one for ECUflash based on the JM8859-13 using locations I found and ones posted in an earlier thread. Because I've copied the JM8859-13 and don't have all the locations some things don't display, but all I need is here. Also works for the RS, and the FQ300/320/340.

thanks for sharing S45fan.

Does anyone know what the FQ340 mods are (besides the change in ECU, of course)?

I have a JDM Evo IX too, and if we could just do the same mods as the FQ340 we could get a simple power increase (i would like FQ400 but I know they did many extensive mods to the engine, not just bolt ons)?

2.75 inch cat back exhaust. 2.5 inch downpipe. Intercooler hard pipes. Reflash. Leather seats. Smart Nav/Tracking device. Tacky badges.

Don't copy it, just fit a turbo back exhaust, fuel pump, free up the inlet and map it.

"free up the inlet"... as in the air intake? Or something else?

Try measuring barometric pressure at full boost/high revs with and without the airbox lid. You'll need to secure the filter to the base of the box to make sure no dust goes around it. You could cut back the lid of the box once you've done this test. It halves the inlet pressure drop of the original airbox to that of a typical induction kit. = free induction kit and probably still cooler air. No silly MAF misreads either like a cone filter.

I know some people said they get things like stalling, being too rich, and other problems with a cone filter, but after I installed the Apexi cone filter kit on my JDM Evo IX, along with the "box" thing that isolates the cone filter away from the engine bay for cool air, I found absolutely no stalling or other similar problems.

Strange, I also installed the HKS SSQV blow off valve (only because my friend virtually gave it away to me, for less than I know i could sell it off) along with the hard pipe going to the manifold (where it connects to the throttle body), and i had absolutely none of the "stumbling" or "stalling" problems people talked about when they stop at a red light or similar.

I don't know if this is a difference in the JDM (and possibly EDM as well) ECU that seems to accomodate or adapt to mods better than those USDM cars?
