Postby Tuned by LIM » Mon Aug 07, 2006 10:17 am

Hi every one I'm newbie from Thailand.
I use 1.3M cable to download my ROM but I couldn't view any map.
My EVO9 GT 5M/T import from Japan 1/2006

Rom definition number was 89280002 seen by EcuFlash program.
Please help me with xml for my ECU version, thanks.

Here's my ROM file.

See your other post for XML file that also works for this ECU.

UK and JDM IX all seem to work on this definition.

I have no email address for you, so here I attach my tuned UK FQ340.

This is about as hard as you can be on Optimax whilst keeping it smooth and
not having excessive timing being pulled everywhere on a hot day in a high
gear.

1.75 bar peak, 1.65 bar held midrange, 1.6 at 5500, 1.55 at 6000, 1.45 at
7000, 1.4 at 7500 - using AVC-R.

AFR 11.6:1 midrange, 11.3:1 at the top.

Ignition and VVT are quite advanced over stock JDM. +3 degrees on ignition
on full load. Part throttle midrange areas retarded to remove lift off detonation.

3" turbo back exhaust, Walbro, HKS panel filter with airbox lid removed.

Changed maps: high octane ignition #2, high octane fuel, boost limit, lean
spool enable, lean spool disable, VVT.

<table name="Injector size scaling" address="1107" scaling="Injector size"

I used to be able to able to read the value of '513' with the above address but ever since I upgraded to v1.28, using the same ROM and definition xml gives me a value of '2'. Does anyone have the same problem?

1106 gives a value of '542'. But its strange that v1.27 gives the value of '513' @ 1107 while v1.28 gives the value of '2' @ 1107...this is on the same ROM! :?

Maybe different scalings, I've had no need to change the injector values yet. But it makes sense that words would sit on even byte boundaries.

I am now using the GT timing as strating base and the car is now pretty more responsible.
Let me ask, how did you connected your AVC-R ? Do you use it in NO or NC mode ? I was trying to connect it on at COM-NO mode and i was not able to boost more than 1,5spike and 1,1at redline on 90%duty. I made a test, loaded conservative timing and choked the line to actuator, and boost has spiked to 2,1BAR, so i dont think i made some mistake instaling my AVC-R. All values on AVC-R looking good and realistic. Only last idea is taht my solenoid is not holding the boost in COM-NO mode and i should try the connection in COM-NC or try the tight test of the solenoid. Or may be some hardware solution like MBC will be easy and high functional too :D

Can you say us also if the VVT changes noticeable are for you?

And did you try to change the OPEN/CLOSED Look values ? I think i have too high EGT on closed loop going 100-120mph at very low throtle, my egt goes over 900°C

AVC-R is COM-wastegate actuator and NO-compressor outlet.

"Can you say us also if the VVT changes noticeable are for you?"

Yes really helps spool up.

"And did you try to change the OPEN/CLOSED Look values ? I think i have too high EGT on closed loop going 100-120mph at very low throtle, my egt goes over 900°C"

No I didn't change them.

 Oops i had it

COM - to turbo compressor outlet
NO - to wastegate actuator

This may be the my problem
