Ralliart JDM Evo IX

Ralliart JDM Evo IX

Postby nvr2fast » Fri Jul 07, 2006 4:32 am

Hi! I'm new here, so please be kind.

I have a Evo IX JDM, and was wondering if it is possible to reflash with a Ralliart Evo IX JDM ecu?

I have a friend who already has a Ralliart IX ECU, so is it possible for me to backup my stock ECU, upload his to my car, and give him mine to try?

Yes I know we could also unplug the ECUs and do a physical swap, but we wanted to try this way.

Is it possible? And is it possible to find different JDM IX ECUs somewhere to try?

Can you post up the rom from the RalliArt ECU? I would be interested in seeing the MIVEC mapping.

I believe 'something' has been done to them to impede the init process...

I haven't actually tried this yet, but I was wondering if it was useful for me to even try. I guess not

You may want to try looking at the code from Malibujack on his activematrix.com fourm. He has figured a way to unlock an ecutek ecu so it may also be a way to unlock the ralliart ecu. Please share any updates. Thanks Josh

I think no you cant use the rom and put it into your car because the execution section will be different.
So you need to dowload your ecu and put only the maps from ralliart ecu to your rom a get it back. I think this is olny one good way.
