newbie looking for a detailed HOW TO....

I'm an owner of a USDM Evo IX MR looking for a detailed HOW TO reflash. What programs i need, drivers, definitions, numbers etc. I have ordered the OpenPort 1.3M cable, but while i wait for it to arrive could any of you create some sort of instruction set? Surely this would prove useful for others in the future and additions/corrections will occur as a result.

that doesn't help him very much.. he asked this forum why cnt some one in here give him a straight answer instead of sending him on a scavenger hunt.

All the info he needs is here or on evolutionm. I don't have to do the work for him. I was just trying to help by pointing him in the right direction.
