But if we can pull information and the ECU code off of the ECU on the USDM 9's....Why can we not plug in the new values and reflash the computer?


Edit: What in the software/evo9 computer is keeping us from being able to write to it?

It should work with any ECU that is reading out currently - does that make sense?

Reading the data out of ECU is ok but what about the interperation of it. Euro version ECU's also need the support I mean.. since they are different. My ECU has the ROM number as 8884 for example. I never come across this one on any of the forums... What do you reckon?

Finding maps is of course a process in itself. If the ROM is similar to another, it is easy to spot most of the maps as they tend to move around only a little bit. The first step, that everyone should be doing, is posting any new ROMs that you find. Only the can anyone attempt to help you locate the maps, and ultimately allow me to add them as supported ROMs in the software.
