EVO7 JDM ROM Attached - along with the EcuFlash Log.

Sorry, there are no good ecuflash xml definition files available for Evo7 JDM yet. Watch this space.

If you know any definition files for an Evo7 please let me know, is there any ecuedit xml definition files available?

Thanks for posting this up (this is the Rom out of my car).

I have done a bit of work on it today, can't really say I got that far, but starting with the info posted by GTODesign here I at least got the fuel and Ign maps and axis right, or hopefully they are.
Attached is the little bit of xml file for the above tables.

Other Maps I have found, but not identified yet are
3E6D 19x19
441A 3x12
450A 6x10 (same map also at 4566)
46A9 7x10
47DB 10x10?
489D 10x10
4A0A 16?x14

While the ecu appeared to have the id 98650014, it appears to actually be 98640014.

Any further input/tips most welcome
Cam

Hi

this seems to be same rom file I posted in the JDM ECU thread above file. I've got quite a lot of the maps worked out. Here's my xml file. Please give it a close look as I may have made some mistakes. This is the first timme I've got involved with ECU data so I'm learing as I go.

It does appear that my Rom file is the same as yours, same internal id at least.
I haven't stumbled across a function to compare 2 hex files as yet, but they sure look to be identical.

The car is a JDM Evo 7 2001 Manual.

Hi Cam

I am using the hex editor in ecuedit, the lates version is here Ecuedit

Open the hex file, a resulting box warns you that no xml deffinition are avaliable , put some letters in the next box & ok it, you should now get a small white box, on file select hex editor & there you go. Its realy nice as it's colure coded, this makes it easy to see the maps. If you set the hex editor to dec power of 1 & 16 rows it will look ok for most maps.
