EVO 9 ECU Image-Is there something wrong ? (Euro Spec Evo9)

Postby msoysal » Thu May 25, 2006 1:25 am

I wanted to compare Euro spec cars and US spec cars since there is a difference in terms of torque figures. However, I couldn't get data displayed properly. The RPM figures and Load values are not right, also the VVT data. I tried second time to upload the data. Results were same. Can someone help me. Thanks.

I think this is a new ROM on this board? JM8884 shows nothing on search.

What exact Euro model is it off?

The ROM looks of similar structure to my JM8857.

I think your VVT map is at from pattern recongntion: &H69DF, 16 bytes per row, shows up nicely in ECUedit hex editor.

Evo 9 from Istanbul

Postby msoysal » Thu May 25, 2006 5:24 am

I bought my car in Istanbul, Turkey on Jan 2006 (probably December 2005-built in Japan) and it is a Evo 9 (there is only one model available here in Turkey, i.e EVO 9) with 6 speed, billstein suspension and electronic A/C. (285bhp and 355 NM torque due to Euro-4 Emission Standarts)

As far as I could look at the ignition and fuel maps I can tell that when comparing to your US ECU data, the car runs much more rich and retarded. This might be the reason for 50 Nm difference of torque. Other than that I wasn't able to see any meaningfull boost and VVC values. Maybe someone could help? Thanks.

thanks for the definition. But are the high and low ignition maps the same since you have written the address for both of them as 5661.
