Hi Guys,

I've been playing around at home for a while with these defs and i've got a few things done but if a more experienced member can go over them that'd be great. just some of the x and y axis are random. other thing that confused me is there's only one majorly apparent throttle map i could find (well 2 but the other one is for when the car goes into semi limp mode) whereas the evox has 4 of the buggers. These rough defs also loosely apply to the European colt czt. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

Played around a bit more last night. There's a few maps i've got as unknown maps that i cant match/recognise. They look very suspicious ha. Wow this stuff is so different compare to the tiny commodore roms i've seen before. In the evox roms when the definitions were being made how the heck did you guys find the target idle rpm's in the rom?

I tried bootloader and new version sw ecuflash 1.43.3150 on a colt czt from 2005 but no response.
Does the 2006 colt czt have a different ecu or something or is there another reason it did not work?
Maybe I should try the 1.43.3172 version.

hey mate,

are you using an op2 cable? On the au colts you need to cut wire 11 from the back of the obd port and wire this to the reflash connector on the op2. I'd check the workshop manual to find the exact pin. On the au its pin 136 of the ecu and is labeled 16v flash or something. The m32 needs a 16v signal in order to initialize the reading/writing procedure. And 1.43.3150 can only read whereas 1.43.3172 can write aswell. I will attach a pic of the wire.

Yes, I am using OP2 cable. I used this pinout http://www.evoscan.com/technical-vehicl ... liart-colt for bench flashing. It sounds like you guys read in write in the car?
Also, does the OP2 cable make a 16v output on pin 11?

I was working on a JDM 05 version of colt version R 5MT using ecuflash 1.43beta3172
Manage to clear checklites for
big MAF housing
hks sqv (VTA)
asc
etc etc..
Was reading and writing ok until possibly low battery and ecuflash show error in the middle of a flash

On the bench using a set of working harness (works well on cz4a ecu).
double check all connection according to evoscan website. Connect Kline, can+, can- and 16v program pin + power lines

Just couldn't flash using Recovery mode.
Is Recovery mode disabled in beta version?
Write button shows in beta 315x n 3172, but not on beta 3272

Any suggestion?

The reflash for the colt only works on the australian model ecu's, not the JDM / European colts. You will have bricked the ECU and need to get it reflashed by Mitsubishi

It just hang up on me after about at least 10 flashes.

Question is does ecuflash 1.43b3172 allow bench flash?

That sounds correct - I am amazed that it didn't do that the first time you flashed it.

The alternative is the guys from Pisiani can resurrect the ECU or ECUTEK can as well. They are your only choices
