I am getting the same error writing to another model Mitsubishi as well, must be similiar based ECU's

Hopefully someone will be able to let us know whats happening and how to fix it.

I confirmed this - the error is becasue OpenEcu is not configured to be able to write to these ecu's yet, they are not currently supported.

You would need to beg and plead with Colby to get him to update openecu to be able to work wth these.

For Airtrek Turbo you can only use Ecuflash 1.29 it wont work with the newer version not unless someone here has managed to work on the definition.

Post up your roms if you can. Downloaded rom can be save even you don't have the correct definition, try this way:
When pop up Unknown Rom Image, select Use wizard............., then click next, Select Inherited from the definition below, click next, click next at ROM Identifier screen, Fill up whatever info you have at ROM Info screen, click next then save the rom post up here.

Openport 2.0 & ECUFLASH 1.42 - 1.43 can use on Airtrek without any issue.

With your posted Roms, I'll try my best to send you a matched definition.
