Guys, need help w/ EVO7 JDM ECU

Hi, good day. Me and my friend just came from the dyno shop today hoping we could tune his EVO 7. when the tuner checked the ecu, he told us that he cant reflash the ECU because its JDM. I think he's using the program "ECU FLASH" but i'm not so sure. Here is the details.. (Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 7/ Manufacture date 2001/ JDM ECU). Hope you guys can help us with it. thanks a lot. more power.

if the tuner is using ecuflash there should be no problem in flashing the 7 ecu
