Any plans for Eclipse 4g 2007+ GS 4g69 Reflash?

I have a friend who wants to turbo his spyder, since its an auto would be best for a reflash... already got the 2.0 tactrix sitting there (mostly tune subarus  )

I'll just bring this guy back from the dead.

The 06-09 Eclipse GT uses an H8302F CANBUS processor. Now I know the new version of ecuflash supports the H8202F but I can't get any responses from my ECU. Is there anything I can do to get this thing reading or is the H8302F completely different from the H8202F? Is CANBUS still the issue? I wouldn't imagine this ECU is that much different from an EvoX

Hello

Where did you read the ecuflash supports the MH8202F ??? Is that sure ? It will be important for me because the outlander turbo use the same and it is canbus too .

I was under the impression they are all under the H8 chip family which ecuflash 1.41 is suppose to support.

Unfortunately we're probably in the same position where nobody in our owner groups has the specialized skills required to get things on the right track to making it happen ourselves.

These forums all lack basic stickies and howto on where to find or learn the forbidden knowledge of the ECU. On our main forum we've pretty much given up.

I was thinking that the 4g was not an H8. Do you know how many pins are on the chip?

The MH8302F might be a Renesas SH-2A, but that is pure conjecture. Some of the SH-2A processors have 240 pins, and it is a newer type Renesas processor. Like I said that is a pure 100% guess from someone who didn't care about this type of stuff less than a year ago.

Good guess though. Everything I'm looking at would seem to confirm that. Let me do some more digging.

I believe it's a m32r Processor

I think your right Marmes. The M32R is actually an automotive powertrain specific chip.

edit: hmm... it looks like all the M32R are 144pin. Don't think that's it.
