USDM MN132874 - CODE P0183

USDM MN132874 - CODE P0183

Postby Zakie@TIC » Fri Oct 12, 2007 12:43 am

I tried the above ecu on a JDM 8 RS without any success, I must say this ecu is 100% stock and even immo not changed. After a few cranks it throws MIL code P0183. Wonder if my usdm ecu is faulty or is there any mods to be done to make it work on a jdm car, or is it simply the wrong immo thats throwing this code.

The car started (JDM EVO VIII RS) with the two USDM ecu's (MN 13274 & MN 191022) only after flashing the JDM E VII Ralliart map on to both ecu's. After a few minutes of running the MIL comes on with P0135 & P0141, which are O2 heater codes. I must say there is no mil code with the original ecu of this car with the same map flashed.

On flashing the EDM E VII Ralliart map onto these USDM ecu's the P0141 code went away and now I'm left with code P0135 to deal with.

Can I have some help to disable the heater circuit in hex or some other method rather than to hang resistors on the harness bcos I'm hoping to use this ecu on a EVO IV.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Zakie

Your problem is with the immobilizer system you need to either disable it or initialize the ecu key and immobilizer to the same code.

I have no issue in starting car now, I guess with the ralliart maps the immo has been taken care of. I really need to get rid of the CEL for the O2.

P0183, Fuel Temperature Sensor A Circuit High Input thats an easy one just add the solenoid or resister but as far as the o2 codes good luck My evo 7 ecu with matching rom won't complete all the o2 tests (evo8 does) due to some wiring differences which I havnt bothered even looking up. rom was 9264000 but it never throws a cel at all. Just won't complete the o2 and cat efficeincy tests
