JDM evo 9 mivec map vs USDM 9 mivec map

it's different. the jdm is more aggressive than the USDM. Correct me if i'm wrong, I heard that the jdm has a 20g turbo, does it matter if the mivec map on the jdm be used on the US mivec map? US has the 16g turbo. I want to know, has anyone here in the us try using the jdm mivec map on the us spec and make gains safely or do you have to tune the fuel and ignition map also? I'm very interested. Don't want to start transfering map over without knowing if something will go wrong.

current modification for US:
tanabe 2.75" DownPipe, 3" test pipe, tapered 2.75" to 3" HKS catback Carbon Ti, Manuel Boost Controller tuned at 23psi tapered to 22, and a GFB 3 click vented. 284whp and 282 wtq @ 6500rpm

The JDM does not run a 20G turbo.

USDM/JDM mainly have different mapping because of environmental regulations.
JDM mivec mapping will help spool up the turbo a lot quicker, just watch it and learn.
Whenever you advance the exhaust cam in low revs, you pump up the turbo!
On high revs you need to do the opposite.

Hope that helps  !
