My evo 8 is not listening to me !!!
in all seriousness I have ecu flash and the cable - id in the lower right as mitsubishi 1.3 etc etc when I ask that the rom is read from the ecu it tries and then provides an error - no response to any known code ???
WTF ?
How do I resolve this ?

Do you have ecu unlocker running in the back round while trying to read. Did you find the solution to your problem, if so post up the error and the solution so others that have the same problems can find the solutions aswell.

PM'ing people the solutions is a good way to find the problem but once found sholudl be placed for everyone to have the info. We are all here to help each other and make the system better
