Making a base image and reflashing it back.

I have a buddy who is worried about reflashing his ecu with an AP, wanted to be able to make an image of the stock ecu and be able to reflash back to it as a "nuclear" option. I know that you can rip the existing codebase off of the ecu and package it up as a hex file but can you also reflash using that image?

The file you pull off your ECU during a read is precisely what you would reflash back later, after unmarrying your AP, to ensure you truly get set back to stock.
