Here are a couple images of 2002-2003 Denso ROMs you can check out using IDA Pro along with the HC16 module I posted, or another dissasembler. I have some other ECUs to dump also, so I will add to this list. The flash memory in the ECU is arranged as follows:

0x00000-0x1FFFF : flash
0x20000-0x27FFF : ram
0x28000-0x2FFFF : flash
0x60000-0x60FFF: TPU flash (boot loader)

The 192k files I have included contain both main flash areas as well as the RAM area filled with zeros. This makes it easier to load into a dissasembler as a single image, but obviously the RAM area never gets flash to the ECU.

The 4k TPU flash area code is in a seperate file. This is the code for a "boot loader" which loads your kernel into memory. This file needs to be rebased to 0x60000. I haven't dumped many of these yet to see if they differ at all within a model year.

Dumped the ECU from my automatic transmission (well, that's how it started, anyway, it's a 5MT now) 2002 WRX... shows ID A4SG900C, so, a substantially older revision than the ones here.

How did you do this? There is a connector close by. Or using the socket under the steering wheel?

I tried to edit my map on the ecuflash and it will not work it says "The current map description is invalid or incomlpete. Please edit the map description to fix the proble and the mp will be viewable again." is there a def file i need to add or something.

WARNING on the A4SGC00C map above - for some reason it has injector scaling set to 503 (stock should be 380 on this map).

I verified that the injector scaling is absolutely the only thing different with the ROM in this thread.

The A4SGC00C rom in my posting is 100% stock.
