03 JDM STI ECU (22611AH581), which are flash jumper pins?

Hi guys,

I got a 03 JDM ECU (part no. 22611AH581), it was from another car and the guy doing the installation did a poor job so that I m missing 2 things: 1 is the green connector enables the car to go inside "test mode", the other is the white color connector which enables ECU flashing, right now I m getting "kernel error", cannot read or write my ECU rom. I got a 05 JDM STI ECU pinout map, dunno if can use or not.

From my understanding, when the car goes to test mode, the test mode pin will be shorted to GND, please see the attached pdf, if I hard wire the B134 pin14 to GND, and add the switch inbetween, will I be able to go into "test mode"?
That's just step 1, I still need to find out the flash jumper pins so that I can hard wire them all ,from the pinout map I cannot tell which are the pins I need to short together, PLS help a newbie out!

Thanks a lot!
Dean

Hi,

I believe 04 onwards are 32 bit while 03 is still using 16 bit ECU.

Here is the link to ECU on bench connection

Test mode connector is B134 pin 5 for JDM STI ECU.

Will need someone elese to chirp in on the flash block. I assume it is somewhere along 12 V connection to the backup power supply (B137 Pin 10).

I have 2002 JDM STI pin out but I cant figure out how to attach in the post...
