2003 STi UK Spec Does Not Connect????

2003 STi UK Spec Does Not Connect????

Postby FMS » Tue Mar 12, 2013 3:06 am

We have a 2003 STi and we cannot access the ecu using the "usual" method:

1. Plug factory Subaru test plugs together (this will enable rad fans to come on when ignition on)
2. Plug the tactrix into obd2 port.
3. Plug usb cable from tactrix to pc.
4. Chose correct template from read/write menu.
5. Ensure imobilizer is off and turn ignition to on (engine off) and quickly press ok/enter to access ecu. When this happens the fans should not come on and download data from ecu should happen.

We have tried using ecuflash and ecuedit (full Pro Version).

Some help, advise and possible solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Copy and paste the text appearing on the Log Window of ecuflash.
