Immobilizer

It's possibile to remove the immobilizer on a 2001 sti?
I have the car at home, it's not a fault of the ecu or the key (also the second key doesn't work), and obviously i can't drive the car to the subaru dealer to reflash the ecu immo with the ssm tool.
I've seen that it's possible on the mitsu ecu's via periphery bits...
