2012 getting interface close

2012 Forester XT
Tactrix 2.0 cable
EcuFlash 1.43 beta

I choose 2008+ CAN to connect
blah blah
Sending Key...
interface close
interface close

I get the double disconnect message. No attempts to connect green connectors ... not sure if there are any in a 2012 anyway.

Any help appreciated... Cobb AP read the unknown rom so I know it doesn't need any cable connections in order to pull the ROM. Cobb AP does not support this ECU yet so it is not married/locked.

RESOLVED!

I was waiting a few seconds after turning the key to on position... what I used to do to ensure ecu initialized in other cars. This is wrong for CAN based cars. Tactrix support said to start read/connect immediately after turning key to ON position and this allowed the software to connect and read the ROM.

Good stuff. ROM at viewtopic.php?f=54&t=5344&p=26097#p26097. Looks typical enough, defs shouldn't be a problem.

true, I took it upon myself to start the table mapping because I figured if nobody has done 2010-2011 FXT they probably have no initiative to do 2012 FXT either. I'm going to start with 2012 since that's what I own. :) I am going off the EDM 2009 since nobody supports USDM 2010 and I can't find a USDM 2009 or 2011 ROM. So far 2009 EDM is same as USDM 2012 and I'm starting to map the wastegate tables.
