Can't Read/Write 05 STI

Can't Read/Write 05 STI

Postby dkGoodrichDotCom » Sun Nov 14, 2010 1:25 pm

I can't read or write this STI that I am tuning for a customer.

I'm using an open port 2.0, I use it every few days on these cars, always works fine. Nothing has changed with my computer and or software. I am using the latest version of ecuflash.

Both sets of green connectors are connected, set by the fuse box and set in the passenger kick panel. Check engine light does rapidly flash.

I did not find any connectors to plug my 04-05 loop back test connector.

Whats odd is that I can log with rom raider.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your business and time,
DK

Sounds like it's locked unfortunately (ECU is denying you security access).

Can someone lock an opensource tune?

The owner says it was previously tuned, didn't know much else, bought it that way and doesn't speak very well English.

Is it possible this is an accessport car?

How do I make this opensource tuneable? Send ecu off to tactrix? Replace ecu?

Thanks for your time!

There are several people around this forum who can unlock these ECUs. I think Tactrix still does (US), also ChipTorque (Australia), probably others.
