The 2.0 has 137PS i think, and the 2.0R has 165PS, this is Model year 2004 to 2006 or 2007.
I'm wondering what the difference between these two are? Is it only the double exhaust and the ROM?

Can I buy myself a 2.0 and get tune it up to 165PS with Ecuflash?

hi ther is 2 diferent engines
First os SOHC the secound is DOHC
the secound have AVCS... another ingnition system... and more more diferences...

I'm going to buy a Legacy 2.0R, and it comes with 150HP, and I saw that the previous version was 163HP but they reduced the power due to antipollution laws.

Do anybody knows what is the difference between these two engine (is it just a programming or there is some mechanical differences)

165hp in [...] 150hp in <...>

Compression ratio [11.1] <10.2>

SECONDARY AIR PUMP [is] <is not>

different Intake valve timing and Exhaust valve timing

...

And the 150hp version is more ecology

yes but problem is with connect to ecu...

this is essential problem can not connect and read and write rom from ECU ... ;/

JDM engines has 200Hp when it will possible to reflash this ecu it can be between 170 from 150 and 185 from 165hp models with out mechanical change...

If you can do it tell me how can i connect with op2.o and reflash this ecu... i will be gratefuly
