need help with a tribeca

my name is eric and i work at turbotime in cary nc tuning subarus and building engines. we recently bought an 07 tribeca limited that has been reflashed by someone on here. the previous owner sold it cheap and told me that it started doing that as soon as he had it tuned. it surges badly so i pulled the ecu file and found a few issues. the drive by wire tables are too aggressive at light throttle, and all the timing tables have been edited. they also set the IAM at 1, and left it there after they were done tuning it. i know how to fix this and romraider will allow mw to make the changes, but i cant reflash the file to the car because ecuflash doesnt support 07's. is there someone here that can walk me thru "defining the file from scratch" so that i can fix this car?
