Some changes w/ feedback really need.

*Review logs carefully*

A fair bit of long logging, some 3 & 4 gear logging and 3-4 dynbo runs.

2 in 3rd and 2 in 4. 4th only up to 4000. All @ WOT.

Thanks

It had better be. I know my mechanic had to run wires to the avcs solenoids and back to the ecu.

What model engine you have? v7 w/ v8 head?

Any results for me? I cannot wait!

It is a stock 2003 JDM STi motor version 8, twin scroll, stock STi tmic, no tumble valves, factory equal length headers...stock STi exhaust and backbox.

Basically the entire engine/ecu/drivetrain/exhaust is a bonestock JDM STi dropped into a North American 2002 Wrx shell.

My wife stole the car this am when I was sleeping, so I probably cant get it until lunch time. (Its actually her daily driver so I can't complain.)

I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee, and to save fuel for work purposes a Jetta Diesel.

She is actually a big Suby enthusiast too, she probably drives it better than I do. I wonder if she will notice the re-mapping with the s202 stuff in there today?

If she does drive better than you, then she should. Will she be getting home in the evening?

I wish my new wife (for the future) will share those things w/ me.

Hey, I found some new information regarding Main ignition map vs. ign correction map that we may need to do some more evaluating of.

The main ign map is a baseline retarded map that the ecu uses as a place to start from. It then pushes timing forward up to the maximum settings in the ign correction map. This is why the ign correction map is positive. The ecu cannot retard more than the main ignition map has in it, it can only work forward between the main ign map minimum and the ign correction map maximums. The ign corrections are added to the main ign map.

I'm going to put my stock map back in and do some baselines, and then we can evaluate from there. I think we need to do work in the ign correction map primarily leaving the main ign map alone.

Do a thorough log of the current s202 first.

We need to see how iam affected the timing and knock.

Thanks

This is a big NO-NO.

The active timing is one of the strong points in the subaru ecus. Do your primary tuning in the main ignition map, believe me you don't want to go into the correction maps!
