Can't read 2005 STi Spec C RA

I am trying to read the ROM off of a 2005 STi Spec C RA and am having problems. I have tried it with the green plugs connected, with the green plugs and the bridge connector connected and with the bridge connector only connected. I get this message:

I am trying with ECU Flash version 1.30.1095. I am wondering if it is the version of ECU Flash that is the problem or if the ECU is locked or if my technique is just wrong. Any ideas?

I got it to work by upgrading to a newer version 1.41.2483 and pluging in the green connector
