I've got a USDM `04 Baja Turbo Sportshift Auto that seems to misfire somewhat when I'm cruising and putting a heavier load on the engine (ie. climbing up a hill) the whole car just seems to miss at random and the more I push the throttle the more noticable the miss is until the torque converter unlocks and comes out of overdrive - then all is fine.
Could this be an issue with the base stock map? I've heard others with similar issues on this make/year who have autos.
BTW - I recently submitted my ECU for reverse engineering. So I'm patiently waiting. I'm just curious. Logging doesn't reveal anything under the cylinder roughness.
