peewee, Just sent you a PM. Do you think this is a standard PPP Ecutek or perhaps a custom Ecutek tune?

The other file i uploaded earlier also seems a Ecutek file.
This is far to rich for the boost it give's. It run's Lambda 9.5 to 10.0.

So i think this is special made for Prodrive, the numbers on the ECU also are prodrive-numbers even with the Checksum of the file.

Has anyone noticed the string at offset 0x2C4A0 (expanded to 192k)??? Looks like a Pr***ive marker...

"....PDPP2262005" - Perhaps P**D*ive Performance Pack 22/06/2005 ??

Oh yeh, just seen it. Seems very likely this is 'marker'. Well spotted.

I wonder if anyone else with a PPP can confirm they have similar markers by searching for P D P P, after setting ecuEdit in to 'char' mode?

Code: Select all
<map name="AVCS???" type="3" active="1">
         <rows count="14" func_2val="[value]*50" func_val2="[value]" offset="#2BAAB" power="2" format="%6.2f" caption="RPM" desc=""/>
         <cols count="10" func_2val="[value]/8192" func_val2="[value]" offset="#2BAC7" power="2" format="%6.2f" caption="Engine Load" desc=""/>
         <data func_2val="[value]" func_val2="[value]" offset="#2BADE" power="1" format="%6.2f" caption="" desc="" color_dir="1" inc="1" incb="5" inc_dir="1"/>
      </map>

You said this ecu came out of a 2005 WRX? What would this map be? Seems to me that its most likely AVCS map. would a 2005 Pro*rive ecu have AVCS??[/code]

Is it an STI?

How can I view the ROM image? The downloaded file doen't seem to have any extension such as .hex. And It comes in as 160Kb format. Can't find the XML definition of this ECU. I want to compare it with my 03 EUDM WRX.

Can anyone kindly help me with the procedure for viewing ROM image?

thanks in advance. :D

i'm beginner here

Now I use MY05 WRX EUDM (A4TE300D) AJ830-8820.
After decat 1st , 3rd cat and change backbox & intercooler to STI ,can I reflashed "AJ830Pro_192k.hex" to my ecu? :roll:
(just convert AJ830Pro.zip to 192k , don't edit it)

Put the attached XML file in ECUedit's XMLDefs folder. Rename the ROM image to give it the .HEX file type. Run ECUedit.

The ROM is meant for the 2005 EU WRX.

That isn't an AVCS map. Here are some example AVCS maps:

I've transfered the values for the ignition, knock correction, fuel maps and boost maps to an XPT2 map for a 2002 Bugeye WRX and this runs fantastic. Safe EGT's and no detonation
