Anyone has problems with the flash changing after the a code has been cleared it happens with both LGT and STI's
I also cant get the rev limiter to go up past the stock limit

I'm not sure what you're describing in the first part. Can you describe your symptom? What does "flash changing" mean? What code has been cleared?

You must change the drive-by-wire table to raise the rev limit on those ECUs that shut the throttle at red line. It seems the LGT doesn't do this, but all the STI models do, but you should check every time.

he will get a cylinder misfire code and he clears it with a scanner and then he will notice the car just dosn't feel fast and I will drive it and feel the same thing but once the map is flashed back to the ecu it's good .

No, nothing extra happens when you clear a code to make the car run poorly.

Perhaps the car is learning to reduce timing due to knock activity, but right after a reflash it is running higher timing.

I don't think it has anything to do with clearing a CEL code.
