Unable to read ECU 2006 wrx

Alright guys I have tried everything I can think of but am unable to read my ecu from my 2006 wrx. This is what my screen looks like

the connector behind the fuse panel must be connected together to read or flash the ecu, took me a while to find it hope this helps someone else.

Nevermind, I found it,thanks so much, that did help.

Its a green connector behind the fuse panel on the drivers side up under the dash. I wired mine up to a single pole switch so I can flip it on if I need to reflash my ecu. Works great

I had read on Nasioc.com that there were two green connectors that needed to be connected on the 06. Can someone please confirm or deny this so that I am sure I am doing things correctly.

Also, once you are done logging/flashing, should the connector be unplugged (or in the case of two connectors needing to be plugged in, which needs to be unplugged and which is safe to leave plugged in). What will it hurt to keep the connector plugged in?
