so a friend of mine introduced me to open ecu the other day and he tried to load a cobb map onto my 05 legacy gt from his laptop and for some reason the computer could not read my ecu, any idea what could be wrong.
he has a wrx and i have seen him tune at least 4 other wrx's with no problem at all but as soon as he tried it on my legacy he got nothing

did you connect the green plugs under the carpet on the passenger side footwell?
