EcuEdit... 16-bit MS DOS Subsystem error - help!

Postby thejean » Fri Jul 21, 2006 6:45 am

I get this error when trying to open a .hex file using the latest version of EcuEdit. Can someone tell me what this means and how do I fix the problem? Appreciate the help... Cheers, JC

In that picture, you're trying to run XMLWRITE, not ECUEdit.

Yes, and xmlwrite runs automatically when i open a hex file in ecuedit. I did a little research on my own (just now ironically) and determined that i needed to replace my autoexec.nt file from the windows/repair directory. did that and so far ecuedit seems to be working alright. :D JC
