reflashed MY05 USDM LGT with map I made

Postby 05GarnetLGT » Sun Jun 04, 2006 8:18 pm

flash worked, started right up, but it threw a code P0605, Internal Control Module Read Only Memory error?
wtf?
so I flashed back to stock and and the cel was gone.
Uploading my modded map to see if anyone knows what was wrong.
I raised the rev limiter to 6900/6800, boost up, wg max dc up.

But, according to the revision history for EcuFlash at http://www.openecu.org/index.php?title=EcuFlash, version 1.26 has a checksum module for DBW Subarus.

Epifan told also that EcuEdit handles checksum. Just need to get the latest release and it should work.

When you create XML file using XMLWrite, Checksum block is visible. You may compare the original checksum block with the one generated by save operation by Ecuedit.

You may also use EcuFlash that for sure manage checksum correctly. Tested and approved ! :D

I've created a simple HOW TO on my website to show how to fix the Checksum on all DBW ecu's via HEX.
