Successfully pulled G35/350Z BIN With Tactrix 1.3 Cable

Postby nosajton » Fri Aug 23, 2013 11:09 am

Hello guys, I have successfully downloaded and reflashed this bin to my ECU using a Tactrix 1.3 cable.

If anyone is able to make me a definition for this, I will release all the information about how to flash these vehicles... I need a definition though first! Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Jason

Where did all the smart ecu hackers go? :(

Its a SH7055 Processor and the guys over at rom raider figured out the Calibration ID

ROM:00002040 a3mfed18n8: .sdata "3MFED18N8" ; DATA XREF: ROM:off_10BEC
ROM:00002040 ; ROM:off_11820

and checksum probably here

ROM:00000400 Check_dword_400:.data.l h'7AA746E1 ; DATA XREF: ROM:off_12AC
ROM:00000400 ; ROM:off_133C
ROM:00000404 Check_dword_404:.data.l h'55C2D3C9 ; DATA XREF: ROM:off_12A8
ROM:00000404 ; ROM:off_1338

We're so close to being able to tune nissans with openport! Any help would be appreciated.
I'm going to rom dump various other models over the weekend.

FYI the main fuel map on nissans is usually 8x8 and looks like this.

Cobb stopped supporting them a long time ago. I'm trying to help the opensource community flash their nissans.

Anyhow heres a BIN I pulled off of a 2004 G35 5AT Ecu I just Purchased and plan to install in my car as these are newer and can be reflashed. the 2003 ecu seems it cannot support reflashing unless under SHboot

The JDM XDF reads the maps partially. things are a little off, if anyone out there can help me line this XDF up as I dont have the time, I'd be willing to shoot them some monies via paypal for their trouble.

The JDM 350z bin has a rom id offset at 3188 of 2WLGHD10
And my G35 ROMID is at 30D0 of: 3GIMBN06

So the map is a little off, the XDF shows around half the map on each table.

Hope you guys can help

I've got a 2005 350z and I'm willing to help out in any way you guys need. I don't know much about tuning but definitely willing to learn.
