Hi All!

I ran into this forum some time ago. I ordered the cable to log and rip the code out of my ecut**ked EUR 2004 STI.

I have downloaded the file from the ECU, but can't seem to find the corresponding xml files.

I must say I'm new to this and haven't figured out yet how the system works. I assume I need the ecu name.

When I Log using ecuexplorer (which says a 2001-2002sti is connected)the logfiles say AG820-821. Is this the ecu name?
When I open the .hex in ecuedit it say:

Cant find map description for A4RN1XXX.
Add this ecu for describe?

Is this the ecu type?

A little help for gettin'me going would very much be appriciated!

Your ECU has been downgraded to a 01 02 EU STI, probably during ***TEK remap.

So yes, AG820 is the ecu type for a 01/02 STI (internal name is A4RN1XXX.)

No XML def already exist, you will have to start one on your own
