Plain OBD-II windows data logger with simple(no OP/ELM)cable

Postby JugglerLKR » Tue Mar 23, 2010 12:17 am

Hello!
Is there OBD-II Data Logger software that works with simple plain K-Line rs232 cable (no openport/elm chip)?
Openport or elm based cables are pricey and used mainly for flashing. I don't need flashing, just logging and resetting DTC if possible. I've been using such a simple K-Line cable on my JDM Outback 2001 and ecuexplorer worked just fine and enough for me. Now I have different car but it still OBD-II, not subaru, and would like to use my old obd-2 16 pin k-line cable, but I can't find any suitable free software for such a purpose.

p.s.:sorry for my english...
