OpenPort 2.0/Evoscan problem

Postby Thane » Sun Jan 04, 2009 2:02 am

Has anyone encountered the same problem as me, when using Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 you can not connect to Evoscan.
Is there anyway around this problem???

as far as I know evoscan isn't ready for OP2. I Think his next offering 2.6 will work. Its in beta testing now, should be soon.

Hi brucer
Evoscan did give me Evoscan 2.6 Beta, is still does not work.
Last communication from Evoscan was to purchase their cable, is there any other logging software which will work with OpenPort 2.0??

I know some tuners are already tweaking the evoX ecu with OP2, so they must be logging in order to tune.
If you go on the evolutionm.net. Look for posts by razorlab, he has had some success and it must be with 2.6. As to which cable he is using, I don't know.
if you have an VIII, IX, it might be easier to borrow a cable

but otherwise there isn't anything else for OP2, unless you have a subie.

PCMSCAN is another option to log EVOX with 2.0 cable which is what razorlab is using for logging.
