Which Datalogging program for USDM 2002 WRX

Hey everyone. I've really been struggling with logging tonight. I attempted for a few hours with no sucess. Which connections do I need in place under the dash in order to log my 2002 USDM WRX? And which program should I use to log? I tried romraider and ecu explorer, but had no sucess.
Please help!!!!

There are no special connections and you should NOT connect the green test connector to log. Just your laptop, Tactrix cable (any version should work on a 2002 WRX), and Ecuexplorer or Romraider or Ecuedit. The key must be in the Run position, but the engine does not have to be running.
I would suggest starting with Romraider. I would go to romraider.com and read the FAQ to start.
