Access Port Version 2 cable for open source tuning?

Postby subieguy2 » Tue Jul 15, 2008 12:01 pm

Hi all!
I am sorry but I am BRAND NEW to the open source tuning world and don't know much about it.
My car is a 2002 WRX sedan with the following modifications:

Ported 16G
STI pink injectors
EBay top mount intercooler
Stone Racing header and up pipe combo
Prodrive down pipe
Bosal exhaust
Walhbro fuel pump
ACT stage 1 clutch
Streetlight flywheel
Cobb Access Port (version 2) 16G 93 octane map
Can I use the cable that hooks up to my Access Port to hook up to a laptop and do some data logging?
I tried plugging the cable in and it is looking for drivers. I have no idea what to do so I installed the Cobb CD and it still won't communicate with the ECU.
Anyone willing to help the newbie on the block get this setup?
Please feel free to email me directly corey.wolfe@gmail.com

Thanks!

OK...so I got a driver that will allow me to do my data logging with my Access Port (version 2) cable.

SO....here I go....on my way to learning about data logging and open source tuning!
